Last Friday, BEIBU Machinery successfully delivered a fully automatic cleaning production line designed for Hibiscus flowers to customers. This equipment integrates core modules such as air separator, specific gravity machine, vibrating screen, stone remover, color sorter and packaging scale, which can efficiently remove various impurities in petals and provide high-purity raw materials for the tea and food additive industries. Hibiscus flower, as a traditional healthy beverage raw material in Africa, Mexico and other places, has been popular in the global market in recent years due to its rich anthocyanins and antioxidant effects. However, problems such as dust, branches and leaves, gravel and discolored petals in its processing have long plagued the industry. With years of technical accumulation, BEIBU Machinery, in conjunction with its Egyptian partner Elnasr, spent 18 months of research and development and debugging to finally create this world's first Hibiscus cleaning system.

Technological breakthrough: precise sorting throughout the entire process
1. Air Separator
Adopting multi-stage airflow sorting technology, the wind speed gradient is adjusted to effectively separate light impurities such as dust and broken leaves mixed in the petals, while avoiding damage to the delicate petals.
2. Gravity Separator
Based on the density difference of the materials, the vibrating airflow composite sorting is used to accurately remove light defective products such as insect-infested petals and shriveled stamens, with a sorting accuracy of more than 98%.
3. Vibration Grader
Equipped with multi-layer customized aperture screens, it can simultaneously filter out oversized branches and fine debris, and the modular design can adapt to the needs of different flower sizes.
4. Stone Remover
In response to the common sand and gravel problems in African production areas, gravity and bouncing composite technology are used to ensure that the stone separation rate exceeds 99.5%, completely solving the efficiency bottleneck of traditional manual sorting.
5. Color Sorter
Equipped with high-resolution CCD sensors and AI algorithms, it can identify and remove moldy, oxidized and discolored petals, with a color sorting accuracy of up to 99.9%, significantly improving the appearance quality of the finished product.
Win-win cooperation: localized innovation practice
The success of this project is inseparable from the strong support of Elnasr in Egypt. The test site, local Hibiscus raw materials and technical team provided by it helped BEIBU complete more than 200 process parameter optimizations. For example, in view of the high water content of African petals, the two parties jointly developed a low-damage winnowing system; in view of the pain point of more gravel in the Mexican production area, the self-cleaning stone removal module was upgraded. This "global technology + local adaptation" model has laid a solid foundation for the promotion of equipment in multiple production areas.
Industry value: redefining cleaning standards
Traditional Hibiscus processing relies on manual sorting, which is inefficient and has unstable quality control. BEIBU's solution has achieved the first processing of 1 ton of raw materials per hour, with impurity residues less than 0.3%, far exceeding the EU food grade standard.
